In this meeting, you will learn where to begin in your Windows 10 journey by considering the various upgrade paths that our available and how that fits into your environment and business needs. Mike will highlight the information needed to determine the types of migration paths that you can use in your environment. Learn which deployment methods are necessary for your environment – new computer, wipe-and-load, in-place upgrade, computer replacement and break/fix). Already have some Windows 10 deployed? Great, learn what it takes to keep those systems patched and get them to the next Feature Update.
About speaker: Mike’s career has been focused around systems management and operating system deployment for almost 20 years (ever since SMS v1.2). He is a Microsoft Enterprise Mobility MVP and runs the Arizona Systems Management User Group. He specializes in the design, architecture and installation of Configuration Manager and Windows operating system deployments. As one of many engagements in his 7+ years with in 1E Professional Services, Mike architected and deployed System Center 2012 Configuration Manager in several Fortune 100 companies (including a Windows 7 migration in a 450,000+ seat environment). Mike is now a Technology Architect for Windows Migrations and User-centric Application Management at 1E. In this role, Mike provides technical direction for 1E technologies, assuring their qualities in efficiently managing hardware, systems, users and other end points.
