Hi, as i read in nisus Forum, apple is going to solve some of mager problems for the RTL Texts in the next Version of OSX. Maybe it is a good idea to collect our ideas and wishes and send it to them. For example, i think it would be very good if they would solve the big problem of the font system in Panther, or it would be very good if they integrate the Persian-QWERTY Keyboard which is made by Ahmad and Behnam.

As far as I know, Persian ISIRI was commissioned by Apple to a fine programmer and he did some improvement on Apple's own Persian keyboard at the same time.
I don't think apple would put our keyboard design without being written by an accredited programer with dependable knowledge of Apple programing and also Unicode.
I know this programmer, but it's not his call. It's Apple's call and we can't be convincing unless we do our homework in creating a well thought out and well designed Persian QWERTY keyboard layout.
We don't want to have a second thought about the location of one or two characters on the keyboard after it came out with OS... neither Apple!

Derar Behnam, you are right, but as far as i can see, the Keyboard Layout, which you made is working fine. And also Apple has the possibilty to compar that version with the version which they sold with OS7/8...
For me, i´m working only with that Keyboardlayout and it is just fine.
The other point which realy is a big problem is the lackof Support for the differnt Font systems in Farsi and Arabic.
I mean Apple tells, that 10.3 is supporting Open Type and also the old Font system of apple, but they do not. So now we are stayng there with only one Font: Geeza Pro
Well i would say that is not really much.

Actually apple have the OS which is in several languages but not all the languages. Actually by the public demand and the popularity of the OS in particular region, They make the newer version with the new languages like parsi as here mansion.
