Does anyone know if a specifically PERSIAN keyboard is included in the new iPhone 3.0 software? Or are the extra letters/ forms found in the Arabic keyboard? Anyone know?

It seems that there is no Persian keyboard but Arabic keyboard was enhanced to have Persian characters in its pop-ups.

They are on pop-up of similar characters.

It's similar to the way you can type accent marks in Latin script. Simply press and hold thd key, and the additional letters will pop out. There is even a nice pop-out for the harakat. My on qualm is that the Kaf is Arabic, not Persian, with slightly different encoding. It may not be effective when using search engines or certain dictionaries. I look forward to an expanded Arabic script set.

That is like what I did before jemiljan. However, I have never seen Persian keyboard in iPhone. I wonder how it works compared to the ordinary keyboards I am using.
